Terms of Service

Last updated: October 22, 2026

Short version: DrawUp is a self-help drafting tool, not a law firm. Documents you create are yours to use, but have a licensed attorney review anything important.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using DrawUp (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Not legal advice

DrawUp is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, opinions or representation. Use of the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship. Documents produced by the Service are self-help templates generated by software and may not fit your specific circumstances. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any document before relying on it.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to create or distribute content that is unlawful, fraudulent, or infringes the rights of others, and not to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to the documents and information you submit ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service. We claim no ownership over documents you generate.

6. Fees

The Service is currently offered free of charge during its beta period. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we will provide advance notice before any charge applies.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or legal validity of generated documents.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DrawUp shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and its total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim (which may be zero during beta).

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
